Breakfast in Hotel Forty One
Restaurant/places to eat in Hotel Forty One

The location is very near to everything. Walking distance to all tourist spots. I've been reading all the reviews of this hotel. The common complaint of other tourists is the noise from outside, but to my surprise I didn't hear any music or noises from our room. We didn't even use the earplugs that are provided from the reception. We sleep very well. We also like their hi-tech door knob/door lock. The receptionist and all the other staff are very friendly and accommodating. We are very glad that we stayed in this hotel because we enjoyed most of our time while staying in bucharest, especially at night time. Very clean rooms and their corridors going to your room smell good. Breakfast is OK. Small options of foods.

The hotel itself is great, I was arriving in the middle of the night and they organised a driver to collect me from the airport at an extra cost. Check in was really quick and I was able to get to bed. The room was lovely and the bed was comfy. Breakfast in the morning was just right if like me you want something light to eat with a nice coffee. The only downside which is not the fault of the hotel is it’s proximity to the nightlife which stayed open til 4/5am. There’s a good amount of soundproofing but I’m a light sleeper so I did need some earplugs. Overall I had a great stay and would recommend if you don’t mind being in the centre of the night life

This hotel was almost perfect for my needs. The breakfast was fabulous and they have really good coffee. The receptionists were all very welcoming, kind, throughtful and went above and beyond to make my short stay as pleasant as possible. The room was spacious with a very big bathroom. Additionally, it was super warm and inviting. It was a really good find and within walkable distance of all the places I needed to go to. It's ideal if you want to spend a weekend in the city center, reconnecting with old friends or hanging out till late.

The hotel is at an excellent location, at the very centre of the old city centre of Bucharest. Many central places of interest are really close to reach on foot. Nearby there are numerous restaurants and cafes. (This is also a minus, see below.) The room was very clean, towels were changed daily (even though I didn't ask for it for sustainability reasons) and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, with some choices, though not too rich. The staff was very friendly and helpful to my questions.

Sofia

The hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and we were given a free bottle of bubbly to celebrate our friends birthday. The beds were extremely comfy. The only downside were the rooms were very hot and when you opened the windows at night it was party central so it was extremely noisy. Only stayed one night but was lucky if we had 3 hours sleep. They did provide ear plugs but sadly I am a light sleeper. Over all though for the money and location it was a great place to stay.
